Preparation Time: Around 30-40 minutes
Cooking Time: Around 60 minutes (excluding resting time)

1.5 Lt Whole Milk ১.৫ লিটার ফুলক্রীম দুধ
2 Cups Sugar (plus 3 + 1 Tablespoon of Caramel) ২ কাপ চিনি (আর ৩ টেবিল চামচ ক্যারামেলের জন্য)
8 Cups Normal Water ৮ কাপ পানি
1 Tablespoon Corn Starch ১ টেবিল চামচ ভুট্টার স্টার্চ
½ Teaspoon Cooking Oil ১/২ চা চামচ রান্নার তেল

Khir Chom Chom Making Video Recipe / খোয়া চম চম / ক্ষুয়া চম চম / মাওয়া চম চম

Cooking Method:
1. Chana/Fresh Cheese Making-
a) Boil 1.5 Lt whole milk to the first boiling point.
b) Add 250 grams natural yoghurt and stir until chana/cheese separates from water. The colour of the milk will turn to light green.
c) Place the content in cheese clothes and hang for 40-50 minutes.

2. Chom Chom Dough-
a) Take out ¼ cup chana/cheese for khir making.
b) Take a large pot, add the squeezed chana/fresh cheese on it and then add ½ tbs of cornstarch and 1 tbs sugar.
c) Mash them very well
d) Add ½ teaspoon cooking oil in the mix and finish the dough making.

3. Chom Chom Making-
a) Using both palm make small sized spring roll.
b) On a large pan, add 8 cups water and 2 cups sugar and dissolved fully add the roll and cover with a lid and keep it for 10 minutes.

4. Caramel Making-
a) On a pan, add 3 tbs sugar and 1 tbs water.
b) Stir the mix until it turns into golden colour (do not burn and keep the flame very low).
c) Add the caramel mix to the pan where chom chom roll is being cooked.
d) Cook for 35-40 minutes.
e) Cool down for 3-4 hours but keep lid covered.

5. Khir Making-
a) On a pan, add 1 tbs ghee
b) Add leftover ¼ cup chana/cheese (refer to above section 2a)
c) Add ¼ cup condensed milk
d) Mix till the content become a soft dough.
e) Cooldown but try to keep a little warm.

6. Final Process-
A) Take out cooked roll make a vertical cut similar to a hot dog but keeping both edges intact.
B) Fill the gaps with Khir and Enjoy!
