More cake-y type muffins but these double chocolate chip muffins are everyone’s favourite.
You can save for longer and really ideal choice for hungry children if they are off from school for a few days.
Serving: Around 10-12 chocolate muffins.
Preparation time: 24-29 minutes
Baking time: 12-20 minutes
Plain flour: 250 grams
Cocoa powder: 40 grams
Caster sugar(any color, golden is better): 120 grams
Sugar (white or brown): 70 grams
Baking powder: One teaspoon
Eggs: Two eggs
Salt: To taste around a half teaspoon
Buttermilk: 140 ml
Vanilla essence: One teaspoon
Water: 175 ml hot
Butter (unsalted preferred): 120 grams
Chocolate chips: 100 grams or more if you wish
Now, how to bake muffins?
Step 1: First you need preheat your oven to 200 degrees Celcius.
Step 2: Grease your muffins tray/tin and align paper on them.
Step 3: In a mixing bowl, take the cocoa powder and flour, then add baking powder, sugars, and salt. Mix well.
Step 4: Add some water.
Step 5: Make sure to whisk all mix, eggs, buttermilk, vanilla and water. Now add melted unsalted butter. Make sure to fold in chocolate chips.
Step 6: Make a really nice and smoothy batter then pour the batter into the muffins tray.
Finally, bake for 15-20 minutes.
Take out baked muffins and cool them down. Enjoy!
