How many types of chaat are there?

The original chaat is a mixture of potato pieces, crisp fried bread dahi vada or dahi bhalla, gram or chickpeas and tangy-salty spices

There are many varieties of chaat available in Indian cuisine. To be precise, 500 of them.

Here’s some of them that are widely eaten across the India and Indian restaurant:

1. Dahi papdi chaat – This is a kind of crunchy chaat that has papad in it and used papdi as a base. To fill your chaat the more vegetable you want to add you can surely do that. In fact, it makes the taste more flavourful.

2. Aloo chana chaat – The main ingredients of this type chaat is mashed potatoes and chickpeas. And we all know mixing both chickpeas and potatoes together any food turns into a deliberate delicious.

3. Corn chaat – This type of chaat taste a little bit tangy used corn as the main ingredients.
