How to make green tomato salad? Homegrown Tomato Salad


Homegrown tomatoesI always inspired by making new and authentic recipes. Keeping that in my mind, today I am showing you how to make a lovely and healthy green tomato salad. So, let’s get started!

Step 1: Get some tomatoes, I am taking some homegrown tomatoes. Do you want to know how can you grow tomato in your home then watch my gardening video?

Step 2: Slice tomatoes in a reasonable piece.

Step 3: Add some shallots or normal onions slices.

Step 4: Add some finger chillies.

Step 5: Mix the content well but forcefully as this way you may get lots of water.

Green tomato saladStep 6: Now, add mixed herbs, salt to taste, English mustard, chat masala, fresh orange juice or lemon juice, mixed nuts, mustard oil, black pepper and mix well.

That’s it!

How to Bake Anondo Bakery Styled Ovaltine Cake?

Baking Ovaltine cake is very simple and easy if you follow a few steps as follows:

Ingredients list-
One cup plain flour
One tbsp cocoa powder
One tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
1/8th salt
½ cup Ovaltine powder
Three medium-sized eggs
One cup regular sugar
¼ cup or less cooking oil
Two tbsp melted butter

How to bake Ovaltine cake step by step:

Add one cup normal flour, One tbsp cocoa powder, One tsp baking powder, ½ tsp baking soda, 1/8th salt and ½ cup Ovaltine powder in a food processing net (not fishnet!!).
Now, extract out all the lumpy bits and threw them in the bin.

In a bowl, take three eggs with yolk, add one cup table sugar and beat well. Then add ¼ cup or less cooking oil in the mix. Plus, add two tbsp melted butter (this is optional).

While beating the liquid content, add the powdered mix that we extracted earlier but very slowly. Pour the whole mix in a baking tray or loaf tray and and some morobba if you wish. Now, Bake it for 30-35 minutes in a 160 degree celcious temprature.

মোগলাই পরোটা তৈরি / Hotel Style Mini Mughlai Paratha Making


Making Mini Mughlai Paratha
Ingredients List:
1 cup plain flour
½ tsp salt
1 ½ tbsp cooking oil
Add some normal tap water
Some chopped onions
Grated carrots
Fresh green chillies
Over a ½ teaspoon of salt
½ teaspoon cardamom powder
Two medium sized eggs

Cooking Method:
Making Dough-
1. Take 1 cup plain flour on a plate or bowl, add ½ tsp salt on it and mix both together.
2. Add 1 ½ tbsp cooking oil and mix the whole content very well.
3. Add some water but slowly on the mix. When the dough is ready; rest for half an hour with a wet kitchen towel on the top.
Making Pour-
1. Add some chopped onions, grated carrots, coriander and fresh green chillies in a bowl, now add just a little over a ½ teaspoon of salt, ½ teaspoon cardamom powder and mix everything.
2. When mixing take extra so that the onions don’t release any water.
3. Take two medium sized eggs and beat them well (beating is optional).
Making Mughlai Paratha-
1. Slice our dough into three pieces to make them mini paratha. Using a wooden roller, make chapati shaped large roll (thin) then add the pour and eggs.
2. Fold chapati into rectangular shaped and fry into a deep oil in a light flame.
3. Once fried serve the lovely and delicious Mughlai paratha.

Serving: 5-6 People
Preparation Time: 20-30 Minutes
Cooking Time: Around 60 Minutes

Ingredients List:

1/2 Cup Butter
1.5 Cup Rice Flour
1/2 Cup Plain Flour
3 Tbsp Sugar
1/2 Cup Liquid Date
1 Tsp Baking Powder
1 Cup Milk (evaporated from 1 Lt milk)
1/2 Tsp Salt
2 Medium Sized Eggs
Grated Coconut

Cooking Method:

There are various ways to bake Bibi Khana Pitha but today, I am showing how to bake in a very Bangladeshi authentic way. So, let’s baking!

1. To Bibi Khana Pitha I am adding-
1.5 Cup Rice Flour, 1/2 Cup Plain Flour, Salt and 1 Tsp Baking Powder, mix them well. Using a net filter, the mix so that the bits and lumpy staff comes off.

2. In a bowl, I am taking 2 whole eggs and beat a little, then ½ melted ghee/butter, 1/2 Cup Liquid Date, ½ Cup grated coconut. Mix well then add 3 Tbsp sugar, 1 Cup Milk (evaporated from 1 Lt milk) and dry mix that I made ready earlier, now mix everything.

3. Lightly butter an ovenproof bowl, place the batter mix. And tap the bottom for air to be released.

4. I am taking a large pan and adding some normal water, then placing a wet cloth (ideally cheesecloth), add a stainless still stand.

5. Place the batter bowl on the stand after covering the top with aluminium foil.

Khir Chom Chom Making Video Recipe / খোয়া চম চম / ক্ষুয়া চম চম / মাওয়া চম চম


Preparation Time: Around 30-40 minutes
Cooking Time: Around 60 minutes (excluding resting time)
Serving: 5-7 persons
1.5 Lt Whole Milk ১.৫ লিটার ফুলক্রীম দুধ
2 Cups Sugar (plus 3 + 1 Tablespoon of Caramel) ২ কাপ চিনি (আর ৩ টেবিল চামচ ক্যারামেলের জন্য)
8 Cups Normal Water ৮ কাপ পানি
1 Tablespoon Corn Starch ১ টেবিল চামচ ভুট্টার স্টার্চ
½ Teaspoon Cooking Oil ১/২ চা চামচ রান্নার তেল

Khir Chom Chom Making Video Recipe / খোয়া চম চম / ক্ষুয়া চম চম / মাওয়া চম চম

Cooking Method:
1. Chana/Fresh Cheese Making-
a) Boil 1.5 Lt whole milk to the first boiling point.
b) Add 250 grams natural yoghurt and stir until chana/cheese separates from water. The colour of the milk will turn to light green.
c) Place the content in cheese clothes and hang for 40-50 minutes.

2. Chom Chom Dough-
a) Take out ¼ cup chana/cheese for khir making.
b) Take a large pot, add the squeezed chana/fresh cheese on it and then add ½ tbs of cornstarch and 1 tbs sugar.
c) Mash them very well
d) Add ½ teaspoon cooking oil in the mix and finish the dough making.

3. Chom Chom Making-
a) Using both palm make small sized spring roll.
b) On a large pan, add 8 cups water and 2 cups sugar and dissolved fully add the roll and cover with a lid and keep it for 10 minutes.

4. Caramel Making-
a) On a pan, add 3 tbs sugar and 1 tbs water.
b) Stir the mix until it turns into golden colour (do not burn and keep the flame very low).
c) Add the caramel mix to the pan where chom chom roll is being cooked.
d) Cook for 35-40 minutes.
e) Cool down for 3-4 hours but keep lid covered.

5. Khir Making-
a) On a pan, add 1 tbs ghee
b) Add leftover ¼ cup chana/cheese (refer to above section 2a)
c) Add ¼ cup condensed milk
d) Mix till the content become a soft dough.
e) Cooldown but try to keep a little warm.

6. Final Process-
A) Take out cooked roll make a vertical cut similar to a hot dog but keeping both edges intact.
B) Fill the gaps with Khir and Enjoy!

South Indian Authentic Chicken Madras Cooking


Preparation Time: Around 15-20 minutes
Cooking Time: 25-35 minutes (excluding marinated time)
Serving: 5-7 persons
Ingredients List:
1.5 Kg Chicken
For the paste-
1 Tablespoon fresh mustard seeds
1 Tablespoon fresh cumin seeds
2 Sticks of cinnamon
3 Cardamom
4 Cloves
Some chopped ginger
3 Garlic cubes
5-6 Dry chillies
For Cooking-
Cooking oil
1 Cup chopped onions
1 Medium sized chopped tomato
Cashew nut
Chopped fresh coriander

Cooking method:
1. For marinating the chicken- add some salt, chilli powder and turmeric powder in the chicken. Mix them well and rest for 1-2 hours.
2. Add the paste ingredients from above in a grinder. Grind them thoroughly.
3. In a hot pan add some cooking oil, then add marinated chicken and lightly fry them.
4. Within the same oil add chopped onions and fry a little bit.
5. Add spices paste on the onions and stir for 2-3 minutes.
6. This is a good time to add tomatoes.
7. Add some salt as required, place fried chicken on the paste and mix well.
8. Then cook 4-5 minutes. At this point, add some hot water.
9. Add some cashew nut and cook for two minutes then add coriander.
Serve and enjoy!

Pohela Falguni Kolkata Style Bashoti Polao Rice


Preparation Time: Around 10-15 minutes
Cooking Time: 30 minutes
Serving: 6-7 persons

Kolkata Style Bashoti Polao Rice Ingredients List:
½ Kg Govindo Vog Rice
¼ Kg Mung Daal (lightly fried)
5 Pieces Dry Chillies
5 Cardamom
3-4 Cloves
2 Sticks Cinnamon
2 Bay Leaves
Fresh Ginger
1 Tablespoon Panchforon
1.5 Teaspoon Fried Cumin Seeds
1.5 Tablespoon Turmeric Powder
7-8 Fresh Green Chillies
2 Tablespoon Sugar
1 Cup Cooking Oil
Salt to Taste

Cooking Method:
1. Add some cooking oil in a pot then add ingredients such as dry chillies, cinnamon, cardamom, bay leaves, fresh ginger.
2. Mix the content and then add some water.
3. After adding water, add cumin seeds powder, turmeric powder, salt, sugar and green chillies.
4. At this point, wait until the water boil a little (bolok).
5. Now, add rice and daal and wait for another boiling point.
6. Place the pan/pot in dom for several minutes.
Serve with chicken or meat of your choice!

Labony Kitchen’s Recipe: Walnut Delight Chicken Bites


Preparation Time: Around 5-10 minutes
Cooking Time: 5-10 minutes
Serving: 4 persons

Walnut chicken bites Ingredients List:
200-250 Grams chicken breast and sliced into pieces.
Salt as much as required.
Crushed black pepper.
1 Teaspoon paprika powder.
1 Tablespoon Tobasco sauce or any other hot sauce.
½ Teaspoon crushed dry red chillies.
1 Teaspoon mixed herbs.
1 Teaspoon garlic powder.
1 Teaspoon onions powder.
1 Tablespoon cooking oil.
1 Cup walnuts.
¾ Cup panko crumbs/bread crumbs (if panko is not available)
1 Egg.
Cooking oil to Deep-fry.

Cooking Method:
1. Add all the ingredients into a bowl and mix them very well.
2. Add 1 cup walnuts to the grinder and grind them thoroughly.
3. Pour ground walnuts in a bowl; then add ¾ cup panko crumbs.
4. Add some salt, black pepper to taste.
5. Mix the bowl content very well.
6. Take an egg and mix with the marinated chicken breast.
7. Shower the chicken with panko crumbs mix and place them on a plate.
8. In a pan add some oil and deep-fry the showered chicken.
9. Use a kitchen towel to soak off the oil from the chicken and serve with a sauce.

Pink Lady Apple Jalebi/ পিংক লেডি আপেল জিলাপি


Jalebi is one of the famous and popular desserts in South Asian culture. However the occasion, Jalebi is a must-have dessert item that goes with everyone. Today, I am making a very different type of Jalebi using British Pink Apple.

Preparation Time: Around 10-15 minutes
Cooking Time: 5-10 minutes
Serving: 2 persons

Pink Lady Apple Jalebi

Jalebi Making Ingredients List:
Around ½ cup plain flour
1 Teaspoon cardamom powder
1 Teaspoon baking soda
¼ Cup natural yoghurt
Cooking oil for frying
Sugar for syrup
And an apple.
For Garnishing:
Some Saffron
Some Cherries or fruits of your choice

Making of Pink Apple Jalebi :
1. In a bowl add flour, then add green cardamom powder, baking soda, little bit saffron, natural yoghurt. Mix the pan content; then add some water and make a very smooth batter.
2. Slice the apple into round shape but after taking the core off.
3. In a heat, pan add oil
4. Deep round shaped apple in the flour batter and fry in the oil until changes to golden colour.
5. Take the fried apple from the oil and drain with a kitchen towel.
6. Meantime, prepare a sugar syrup as shown in the video. Then soak fried apple in it.
7. Decorate the middle section of the Jalebi with cherries or fruits of your choice and sprinkle few saffrons on the top.
